Description
Network Archaeology Ltd was contracted by MBNA to conduct an archaeological excavation towards the south-western corner of the Chester Business Park, prior to its development. A grey literature report detailing the full results of the excavation and containing a number of specialist reports was produced in October 2004 (Network 2004) and is held in the Cheshire Historic Environment Record (HER) (Report no R3171; Event no ECH5763). Subsequently, a draft publication text (Ref SCH8071) was submitted for publication in the Journal of the Chester Archaeological Society volume 87 for 2017. However, comments on the draft by the editor of the journal and the external reader could not be satisfactorily addressed and the publication did not reach fruition.
