Description

Heritage Statement produced in 2024 for Stone Lock Cottage prior to its proposed demolition and re-development of the site. It is an unlisted building located adjacent to the Shropshire Union Canal (Chester Main Line) and is within the Chester Canal (Ellesmere Port to Nantwich) Conservation Area. It is in the setting of the Grade II* listed Beeston Stone Lock and Grade II listed Linkman’s Hut adjacent to Stone Lock.
