Abstract/Summary
Article presenting and discussing the Oxford AMS radiocarbon dates produced for Lindow Man and the peat horizon in which he was found. Also discusses radiocarbon dates produced by other laboratories (Harwell, British Museum). It concludes that the body dates to the period 2nd century BC – 119 AD (Oxford dates) and the peat to 200-760 BC (Oxford, Harwell and British Museum).
