Abstract/Summary
Report on the results of an archaeological evaluation undertaken during August-September on land at the junction of St Martin's Way and Upper Northgate St., Chester, representing Site 7 within the larger Gorse Stacks development. One linear trench was excavated, and the only archaeological deposits recorded, at a depth of 2m, were post-medieval garden soils.
