Abstract/Summary
Includes notes on two archaeological evaluations in Chester, one describing small scale excavations at the amphitheatre, where part of the foundations of the demolished early eighteenth century St John's House were identified, and the other on test pits at Bridge Street, where three phases of post-medieval activity were recorded.
