Abstract/Summary
Archaeological watching brief during renovation works to public toilets at Frodsham Street, Chester confirmed survival of archaeological deposits ranging in date from the prehistoric to the post-medieval periods. Of particular note was the discovery of traces of the Roman parade ground to the east of the fortress.
