Description

An archaeological watching brief during renovation works to public toilets off Frodsham St., Chester, confirmed survival of archaeological deposits ranging in date from the prehistoric to the post-medieval periods (1). Of particular note was the discovery of traces of the Roman parade ground to the east of the fortress (1).
