Following a preliminary meeting with National Grid, it beacame apparent that there would be no further opportunities to inspect the trenches and earthworks provided a verbal report plus photos on the nature of the deposits. No remains associated with the friary were revealed but the data are useful as a record of the depth of disturbed strata immediately outside the west front of the friary.
