Abstract/Summary
Michelle
Land at Chester Road, Hartford: Detached Dwelling and Garage (Ref 09/02426/REM)
This is just a short note to confirm that I visited the above development this morning in accordance with the archaeological condition attached to the planning permission. I was able to inspect the excavated area within the footprint of the new building and check for evidence if the Roman road. No obvious remains were apparent but this probably reflects the foundation methodology (mini piles rather than strip foundations).
I advise that any outstanding archaeological condition may now be discharged.
