Abstract/Summary
Chester City Baths is a purpose built Victorian public baths complex that is still in use as an indoor public swimming pool. This is the only surviving Victorian purpose built bath house still in use for its original function in the country. The survey assessed the general historic character of the Chester City Baths and the presence of features of historic note within the structure with the intention of informing future plans for the standing building.
