Abstract/Summary
A sample of timber excavated during an archaeological watching brief for a new gas main in Welsh Row, Nantwich was submitted for dendrochronological dating. The analysis dated the timber to the second half of the 13th century, a more precise date cannot be obtained due to the absence of sapwood and bark edge on the sample. This report provides a summary of the result obtained from this sample
