Abstract/Summary
The University of Manchester Archaeological Unit was commissioned by the Environment Agency to carry out a rapid archaeological survey of the Mersey Bollin catchment in Cheshire and Greater Manchester. This report is for stage 1 of the survey comprising a desk-based assessment of the designated rivers and tributaries in the catchment.
