Abstract/Summary
Desk Based assessment of land at Delamere Street bus station to the north of Chester. Although no previous archaeological investgiation had been carried out it is known that the area was in use as a quarry from the 16th century at least. Furthermore there is the potential for Roman remains relating to the civil settlement as well as possible cremations from the Upper Northgate cemetery area.
