| Author/Originator | Chester Archaeology |
| Report Number | R2034 |
| Date/Year | 1993 |
Abstract/Summary
Observation of the foundation trenches cut during the construction of an extension to the King's Arms public house, Hightown, Middlewich, undertaken in February 1993. No features pre-dating the construction of a modern yard surface were observed. Although there was some indication of truncation across the site, it is likely that the site was never subject to intensive occupation.
