Technique(s)
Organisation
Chester City Council
Date
February 1993
Description
Observation of the foundation trenches cut during the construction of an extension to the King's Arms public house, Hightown, Middlewich, undertaken in February 1993. No features pre-dating the construction of a modern yard surface were observed. Although there was some indication of truncation across the site, it is likely that the site was never subject to intensive occupation. (1)
