Abstract/Summary
Archaeological watching brief carried out during groundworks for an extension to the Old Hall, Nether Alderley. No remains for the earliest recorded hall were observed, however several features dating to the 17th and 18th century were recorded, including a linear brick-lined culvert that drained into the moat and a brick-lined well.
