Three features of archaeological significance were identified. The first was the embankment of the Roman road from Wilderspool to Kinderton which now carries the A530 (King Street). The second was an earthwork comprising a ditch and bank of unknown date but previously used as a township boundary. The third was a brick kiln site to the east of the A530.
