Abstract/Summary
An archaeological desk-based assessment was produced in 2000 for land at Fennel Street, Warrington in support of a proposal of re-development of the site. The sie lies close t the centre of the medieval town. Geo-technical exploration has been monitored archaeologically and the results are also discussed. The study concludes that given the level of destruction across the site, there is little potential for archaeological deposits to survive.
