Building record 11118 - Fire Station at Queens Park High School, Chester

Former Fire Station at Queens Park High School, Chester in use during the Cold War at least although it is appears to date to the Second World War. Recorded in the Non Anti Invasion database (1).

In 2012 a four bay single storey brick structure with a corrugated iron roof was recorded in this approximate location. Each bay has a pair of wide doors providing entry into the simple structure. (2)

It is present on the RAF 1947 aerial photographs although not on the 1940 Luftwaffe set. (4)

Recorded as former AFS fire station. (5)
