Summary

Grade II listed threshing barn now used as a store shed. It dates to the late 17th century and has 19th century alterations. It has brown brick walls and is two storeys high with a 19th century single storey former shippon (cow house). There are threshing porches at the front and rear. Threshing is the process of seperating the the grain from its husk by beating the cut crop and letting the air carry off the chaff.

Full Description

Threshing Barn at Daintith's Farm in Pack Lane, now a store shed. Probably late 17th century with 19th century alterations. Brown brick with a graded grey slate roof. Two storeys with 19th century single storey former shippon. Threshing porches at front and rear (1). Full architectural description in ref (1).
