Excavation for the construction of a fire escape at the YMCA produced a wide range of pottery from disturbed horizons (1). The assemblage included a relatively large assemblage of medieval cooking pots and jugs, and post medieval pottery and glass. A pit containing a single sherd of post medieval pottery was also recorded (CHER 11031) (1).
