Farmhouse probably mid seventeenth century, substantially renovated and recased in brick by the Arley estate later nineteenth century. English garden wall bond brown brickwork; clay tile roof. Two storeys; right wing of two rooms with cross-gable of two storeys plus attic to left. Right wing has nineteenth century gabled porch with four-centred archway and oak-framed gable. Nineteenth century moulded brick mullioned openings contain small-pane casements. Interior: Altered lobby-entrance plan. Oak bressumer to altered inglenook; a stop-chamfered oak beam; stair replaced. The farmhouse groups attractively with barn and shippon (q.v.) around cobbled forecourt.
