SJ 68 SE 3/16 ANTROBUS C.P. ARLEY ROAD North East Side Parkmoss Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse probably mid C17, substantially renovated and recased in brick by the Arley estate later C19. English garden wall bond brown brickwork; clay tile roof. 2 storeys; right wing of 2 rooms with cross-gable of 2 storeys plus attic to left. Right wing has C19 gabled porch with 4-centred archway and oak-framed gable. C19 moulded brick mullioned openings contain small-pane casements. Interior: Altered lobby-entrance plan. Oak bressumer to altered inglenook; a stop-chamfered oak beam; stair replaced. The farmhouse groups attractively with barn and shippon (q.v.) around cobbled forecourt. Listing NGR: SJ6554881614
