Farmhouse. Late seventeenth century with early eighteenth century, nineteenth century and twentieth century additions. Red English bond brick to the seventeenth century portion with Flemish bond to the eighteenth century portion and English garden wall bond brick to the nineteenth century and twentieth century portions. Slate roof.
Entrance front: Gable end of eighteenth century date with Flemish bond brick and black headers. Band of two bricks depth between ground and first floors and moulded string course of brick between first and attic floors. Central ground floor four-panel doorway with horned sash window of two by two panes to left and two-light casement window to right. Above the central doorway the band forms a small pediment and there is a sash window of two by two panes to the first floor left and a two-light casement at right. Two-light casement windows to gable with an imposed twentieth century chimney stack to the centre of the gable which has a stone coping and springers.
Right hand return: Early nineteenth century wing to centre originally a separate cottage. To the left and right of this runs a band between the floors of three bricks depth resting on projecting headers. To the left is a single-light twentieth century ground floor window and to the first floor a window of two casement lights with a seventeenth century leaded surround and three by four panes to each light. Basket relieving arch over. To the right of the central wing is a to-light ground floor casement window and there is a blank window to the first floor. To the right of this is an eighteenth century extension of one bay in Flemish bond brick. This has a band of 2 bricks depth between the floors and sash windows of two by two panes to both floors.
Rear: two blocked ground floor windows and one twentieth century casement to first floor right. There is a central recessed panel to the centre of the first floor stuccoed and with the date 1727 set in pebbles to the centre. Band between this floor and the attic which has a two-light nineteenth century window. Stone springers and coping to gable.
Interior: Chamfered ceiling beams to the ground floor and a two-panel door of early eighteenth century date. Fitted clothes press to one first floor room with doors of late seventeenth century/Early eighteenth century date.
