Monument record 908/1/1 - Manley Hall

The site of the ancient Manley Hall is marked by a moat near the farmhouse now called Manley Hall.

In 1962 the course of the moat was a vague hollow surrounding a raised rectangular platform, which sloped down to the Northeast. By 1964 the moat had been filled in and only its inner limits were traceable.

In 1984, moat could still be traced, with ditch showing greener and slightly sunken.

Part of the western area and north-western corner of the map is depicted. Its not clear if the ditch located on the western side is part of the moat or a later feature.
