Full Description

House: seventeenth century core, remodelled and refaced early nineteenth century with early twentieth century porch and late twentieth century fenestration. English garden wall bond orange brick, Welsh slate roof and a gable and an off-ridge brick chimney. Two-storey, four-bay south front. Raised band at first floor. Small pane aluminium windows in original openings with flat wedged stone heads with raised keyblocks and moulded stone sills. Second bay has rather vulgar Ruabon brick porch with stone dressings. Glazed door with shaped stone head flanked by single lights. Brick and stone cornice with ball finials. Original moulded doorcase behind with panelled soffits. Three brick bands at right side and the rear reveals regular small framing to full height on a tall brick plinth. nineteenth century. Interior: not inspected but heavy moulded ceiling beams visible.
