Summary

Grade II listed shippon (cow house) at Hall Green Farmhouse. It has a datestone inscribed "RS 1674" but the building is 19th century with some 20th century alterations. The walls are English garden wall bond brick with red sandstone dressings and a welsh slate roof. Above the ground floor is a line of diamond and cross pattern ventilation slots and two circular pitchholes with stone surrounds.

Shippon 25m north of Hall Green Farmhouse, Cliff Road. Dated 1674, but the building is of early/mid 19th century with some 20th century alterations. English garden wall bond brick with red sandstone dressings. Welsh slate roof with stone ridge and copings. Lintel with inscription "RS 1674". Above ground floor is a line of diamond and cross pattern ventilation slots and two circular pitchholes with stone surrounds. Interior: has heavy ceiling beams. Full architectural description
