Building record 2209/1/1 - Tytherington Old Hall

A timber-framed L-shaped house built for the Worths. One cross wing survives fronted by a big jetted gable of late C16. The other end of the building is close studded and perhaps early C16 in date. A C19 stone wing was added but recently demolished. The building was ruinous but is to be restored (1).
