Full Description
Footbridge over the River Bollin, dated 1820. Bossed pink sandstone. Single segmented arch on low piers carries a narrow footway with a heavy rounded coping standing on 10 rough piers to form an open parapet. Under the arch on the east is the inscription "J Mellor 1820" (1). Built for Samuel Greg on the site of an earlier wooden bridge (2).
