Full Description
Bridge over moat to Chorley Old Hall. Probably l6th century with some later repairs and rebuilding. Ashlar buff sandstone. Two semi-circular headed arches are sprung from low piers. There is a low parapet with a flat coping and a concrete roadway (1). NB ground beneath the bridge is scheduled (2).
