Full Description
Possible round barrow. From 14-18m diam & linked to a field wall on the NE slope of Eddisbury Hill. It is unclear whether the wall was built before of after the mound was formed, but the mound may be associated with coal mining on Macclesfield Common (1). Due to the proximity of numerous other similar sutes in the area it is likely that the site is a spoil heap (2).
