Full Description
A possible barrow. A copse of trees on a disturbed patch of ground, on the SW of Eddisbury Hill. Possibly natural erosion, or the result of local coal mining, or possibly the site of a mound reported by Graham Webster at Blake Low (1). Location of site on steep hillside is not typical of a barrow location, and may just be one of numerous examples of spoil from local coal mining (2).
