Formerly a dovecote, now a store. Built in the early nineteenth century for Sir J T Stanley. Hexagonal in plan with a pyramid shaped roof. It is built of brick with sandstone dressings and a Kerridge stone-slate roof. Each face has a circular hole (now either glazed or blocked) and a keystone at each cardinal point. Apex of roof has an open wooden bellcote with a weathervane. The interior has tiers of holes in the brickwork which have projecting brick ledge in front of them; these number over 400

To the north of the water garden is an otagonal brick dovecote (restored).
