Summary

This Bronze Age barrow is a Scheduled Monument . There is a stone pedestal on the top. Round barrows are a type of burial mound, particularly used in the Bronze Age. Mounds of earth and stone were placed over a burial or cremation. A single barrow could be re-used for several later burials.

Full Description

A round earthen mound, 25m diam x 1.5m high. Possible Bronze Age barrow, but may be recent landscaping. Surmounted by a pedestal (1).
