Formerly farmhouse now house: seventeenth century core, walls rebuilt and an addition early nineteenth century. White-washed, English garden-wall bond brick, on rough red sandstone base with Kerridge stone-slate roof, partly stone-ridged, and two brick chimneys. Rectangular in plan, originally two rooms, then four. Two-storey, asymmetrical four-bay front. Fenestration of five, three-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars and a similar two-light. Lower widows have cambered rough brick heads, and similar head over door towards right. Interior: Left two bays originally timber-framed some of which survives but is hidden, and original roof timbers in this part.
