Formerly farmhouse now house: C17 core, walls rebuilt and an addition early C19. White-washed, English garden-wall bond brick, on rough red sandstone base with Kerridge stone-slate roof, partly stone-ridged, and 2 brick chimneys. Rectangular in plan, originally 2 rooms, then 4. 2-storey, asymmetrical 4-bay front. Fenestration of 5, 3-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars and a similar 2-light. Lower widows have cambered rough brick heads, and similar head over door towards right. Interior: Left 2 bays originally timber-framed some of which survives but is hidden, and original roof timbers in this part.
