Full Description
Brookhouse Farmhouse, Kerridge End. Late C17 with C18 addition to the right. White-washed coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Stone-slate roof, stone ridge and three stone chimneys. L-shaped in plan. Two-storey, four-bay front. Left three bays are original house and have chamfered stone mullions. Right end bay has C20 casements under rough stone lintels. Interior: Probably gable-entry originally. Deep chamfered beam with a bead stop in kitchen (1).
