Full Description
Norcliffe Hall Farmhouse, Altrincham Road, Styal. Farmhouse, earlier C17 with raising of roof and brick alterations mid C19. Timber framed with brick nogging on ashlar plinth to front. Remainder washed brick. Slate roof. Long rectangular plan. Four-bay front. Windows mostly casements, the upper ones raising the roof above timber small framing. Above one is a coved gabled dormer raised with the roof. Lower window in second bay is a five-light wooden ovolo-moulded mullioned and transomed. Full architectural description (1).
