Summary

Grade II listed building. Originally a hall, then a farmhouse and now split into three flats. It was built in the 17th century with early 19th century alterations to the front. It has coursed sandstone rubble walls and a stone-slate roof and four brick chimneys. Sash windows have been inserted into 17th century surrounds on the ground floor. Elsewhere there survives a wide variety of mullioned windows of different sizes and mouldings, which suggests a complex 17th century building history.

Full Description

Formerly a hall, later farmhouse, now three flats. C17 with early C19 alterations to front. Coursed sandstone rubble with Kerridge stone-slate roof and four brick chimneys. Originally rectangular in plan with two short ranges at right angles, both with a side gable. Two-storey, three-bay west front. Sashes have been inserted into C17 surrounds on ground floor with a continuous projecting course at first floor with rises to form hood moulds. Elsewhere there survives a wide variety of mullioned windows of different sizes and mouldings, which suggests a complex C17 building history. Interior: Has some chamfered beams (1).
