Formerly farmhouse now house: later seventeenth century with nineteenth century alterations and twentieth century renovations. Rendered brick and timber framing on sandstone plinth. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and three rendered chimneys two-storey, three-bay front. Windows are twentieth century three-light wooden casements with glazing bars, the upper central one in a timber-framed gable half dormer with covering above the window and herringboning in the gable. Near central twentieth century gabled porch. Interior: timber-framed partition walls. Wooden inglenook fireplace structure and heavy ceiling beams in main room.
