Fragment of an inscribed stone of probable Roman date recovered from the site of King's School, Northgate Street (now Barclay's Bank) in 1883. Since lost.

Full Description

Fragment of an inscription, found in 1883 in levelling the ground behind the King's School, near the Cathedral. Inscription reads MllC or probably MEC. Once in the possession of F H Williams. Not included in the 1906 catalogue of the Grosvenor Museum and not there now (1) RIB i 570
