Summary

Two Roman coins found in the Henbury area in 1957. One is an Antoninianus of the Emperor Gallienus, the other an Antoninianus of Salonina, his wife. They may have originally been part of the Agden Hoard (CHER 1300).

Two Roman coins, probably from the Agden hoard (CHER 1300), found in the Henbury area in 1957. One is an antoninianus of Gallienus, rev. VIRTUS AUGUSTUS, mint of Rome. The other an antoninianus of Salonina, his wife, Augustus in Pace, mint of Medislanum. Presented to the Grosvenor Museum.
