<4> Bluesky International Ltd, 2010, 2010 Bluesky Survey (Aerial Photograph). SCH5444.

<5> Bluesky International Ltd, 2005-2006, 2005-2006 Bluesky Survey (Aerial Photograph). SCH5483.

<6> Various, Various, Oral communication to the HER, Edwards R, 02/08/2016 (Oral Communication). SCH2330.

The feature is quite distinct at its northern and southern ends on aerial images from 2010 (5). The northern end appears to be a pronounced bank, or given the topology, a lynchet. The southern end is clearly a ditch. The central curving section of the feature is less distinct, by can be traced on aerial images from 2005-6 (6). The aerial images from 2010 (5) seem to show a similar parallel feature at both ends suggesting that this may be the boundaries associated with a trackway. It is notable that the near the southern end of the possible trackway, the Ordnance Survey 25” to 1 mile map of 1873 records a well (see 7).

<7> Ordnance Survey, 1871-1882, Ordnance Survey County Series (Epoch 1) 25 inch to 1 mile - Cheshire, SJ9369, 1873 (Maps and Plans). SCH2462.
