Summary

A Roman Fibula recovered from a field opposite Ness Gardens. It still bears traces of original enamelling but is in a poor condition. There were two other unidentified metal objects from same area.

A Roman Fibula recovered from a field opposite Ness Gardens. Length 4Omm. Still bears traces of original enamelling but is in a poor condition. Two other metal objects from same area. Information from Williamson Art Gallery and Museum, Birkenhead. Photograph included.

This fibula could not be specifically identified and could belong to one of several different types.
