Two storeys and attic, with eighteenth century brick wing. Slate roof. Fine interior details.

The roof, sandstone and gutters need extensive repair. Much of the interior has been well restored revealing a massive inglenook. This very fine house contains many interesting and unusual features including an extensively decorated stone mantel, and may merit listing at Grade II*.

In first floor room there is a stone mantel over fireplace dated 1637, though a conjectural pre 1637 date of construction is suggested. Now modernised as the Pollard Inn.
