Full Description
The present market hall was erected in 1868 to the north of Churchyardside on land given by John Tollemache. It replaced the former market hall in the market place (1). A Watching Brief was carried out in 1990 at the Market Hall in Nantwich. It revealed over a metre of water-logged deposits before reaching the natural sand layers.No other information is availble(2).
