<1> MARS Project, 1995, MARS Project unrecorded archaeological site notification form (Written Communication). SCH2122.
To the south west of Fullhurst Hall, Sound Lane (SMR No 271/0/1), there remains one arm of a moat, marked on the ordnance survey map, which presumably encircled the hall. This portion is water filled. To the north of the hall slight earthworks of the moat could be seen in a pasture field. A large part of the moat will have been destroyed by agricultural buildings which are now to the south and south east of the hall
