Description

SJ 65 SW SOUND C.P. SOUND LANE 3/39 Fulhurst Hall 12.1.67 II Farmhouse, mid C17 with later alterations. Timber framing and brickwork painted to resemble timber framing with tile roof. 2 storeys and attic 3 bays. Rear wing completes "T" shaped plan. Part glazed 6-panel door, on HL hinges, in doorcase with eternal architraves. This is fronted by a lightweight timber porch, with pitched roof, shaped bargeboards and finial, built off a low brick wall. The porch is flanked by single light flush casements and the end bays have square bays with flush casements and tile hipped roofs. First floor windows are 3-light slightly recessed casements with stone sills. The attic has three mid slope gabled dormers with 2-light flush casements. Wallplate of original timber frame shows at eaves. Exposed timbers in rear (north) gale. East gable painted as timber frame, west gable C20 brickwork. Interior: Ovolo and bevelled beams, exposed ceiling joists, inglenook, 4-panel doors on HL hinges and wide boarded doors. Listing NGR: SJ6221650163
