Summary

Immediately north east of Wrenbury Lifting Bridge is Wrenbury Wharf. The tithe map of 1843 indicates that the wharf was associated with some limekilns. These were disused by the late nineteenth century. A combined corn mill and warehouse was built at the wharf sometime between 1898 and 1910.

Immediately north east of Wrenbury Lifting Bridge is Wrenbury Wharf, with a corn warehouse and a corn mill site (see 2).

The wharf is depicted and the accompanying award records the limekilns in the adjacent plot.

Depicts the wharf and the "old limekilns", but few buildings other than a weighing machine adjacent to the bridge.
