Full Description
Hollybank Cottage, early C17. Brick nogged timber framing, formerly thatched. Two-storey, three-bay, twelve-panel facade. Small framing with angle braces. Added wing and porch C20. Flush casements with glazing bars. Interior has inglenook with stone cheeks and timber beam. Original wind braced purlins. Shippon is now garage, mid C17. Brick timber framing and brick repairs. Single storey. Three-bay. Small framing with passing braces. Flush casements and old wide boarded and half heck doors. Roof has strutted trusses and original wind braced purlins and ridge (1).
